The Camp Angelos Youth Fish camp is a five (5) day overnight camp designed for boys and girls ages 9-14. The camp includes a small ratio of campers to counselors, daily meals, lodging, equipment and professional instruction from industry experts.
Stocked (donated from Mt. Hood Community College Fish program) Trout ponds, hiking trails within the camp and adjacent Metro property, and Sandy River access for fly fishing classes make Camp Angelos the perfect setting.
The mission of Camp Angelos is having fun, while introducing boys and girls to the beginning of a lifetime skill and enjoyment of fishing. This natural setting is the perfect backdrop for our skilled instructors to teach both fish habitat and conservation to preserve our environment for future generations.
Need based and active/disabled veterans scholarships are made available through the generous donations from the Camp Angelos Board of Directors, Oregon Wildlife, Carol & Velma Saling Foundation, Flyfisher Foundation, Camp Angelos Golf Tournament, the Dussin Group (Old Spaghetti Factory), Hilaire’s Wild Game Dinner, D&G Bait Inc., Larsen’s Creamery, Camps For Kids and Bobby Keerins. Volunteers are from the NW Steelheaders, Oregon Bass and Panfish Club, and the Oregon Dept. of Fish & Wildlife.
Camp Fee will be $375 for those not on scholarships.
